![]() It may be tempting to skip regular employee meetings so you can take care of the long list sitting by your computer. But a recent Gallup poll suggests communication in most companies isn’t great. They add that sometimes it’s so bad it drives people to quit. And we agree! Think about this as you work through your day. Are your employees frustrated? Do they need support and encouragement? The answers are a resounding yes! The slightest frustration can grow if not addressed. Devise a plan to communicate with your employees on a consistent basis. Because of their back-and-forth nature, I’m personally a big fan of regular 1:1 meetings. Meeting “by chance” tends to fall off the radar. According to Gallup, employees are 2.8 times more likely to be engaged when they regularly talk to their manager about their goals and successes. Happy employees, thriving business. That’s a win-win!
